Verge Network Solutions Achieves HIPAA Compliance Certification

Verge Network Solutions, a technology partner to community banks, healthcare organizations, K-12 school districts, and growing businesses across Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, and the South-Central United States, announced it has achieved HIPAA compliance certification, further strengthening the safeguards that protect patient data flowing through its healthcare clients’ communications systems.

Unlike SOC 2, HIPAA has no single government-issued certificate — compliance is demonstrated through independent verification of an organization’s safeguards against the HIPAA Security Rule. Verge’s certification was completed by A-LIGN and confirms that Verge’s administrative, physical, and technical safeguards meet those standards for protecting electronic protected health information (ePHI).

For the hospitals, physician clinics, dental practices, and specialty care providers that rely on Verge for phone systems, secure messaging, mass notification, and contact center solutions, the certification offers independent assurance that patient information is handled with the same level of care those providers extend to the patients they serve.
