Quick Tip: "Push Call" from Your Mitel Phone to Your Mobile Device

In today’s on-the-go world, sometimes you’re in the middle of an important phone conversation but need to run to your next appointment. Did you know that you can easily transition your call from your Mitel phone to your mobile device? Take that call with you and don’t ever miss a beat.

From your Mitel device, simply select the “Push Call” softkey during your active call. Your configured devices - i.e. your smartphone with the MiCollab mobile app - will ring. Answer your smartphone and the call will now be active there and your desk phone will be disconnected. It’s that simple!

Conversely, if you took a call through MiCollab on your smartphone while you were out and are now back in the office and want to move that call to your desk phone, that is easy as well!

In the MiCollab app, select the 3-dot action menu from your active call screen and then the "Handoff" option. Your configured devices, including your Mitel desk phone, will be listed here. Select your desk phone and the call will ring on your desk device. Answer your desk phone to transition to call and your smartphone will be disconnected. Voila!
