Note: Special Ring Tones may indicate an outside call differently than an inside call.

 Placing a Call on Hold

 Retrieving a Call from Hold

Press Hold.

Press the flashing Line key, or if on hold at another extension, Dial **1 + Extension.

 Transferring a Call

 Conferencing Calls

Press Trans/Conf.

Dial the number, Or for Voice Mail, press Voice Mail key + # + Extension number.

Announce the call and hang up the Handset.
Or press Cancel to return to the caller.

Press Trans/Conf.

Dial the number.
Wait for an answer.

Press Trans/Conf.

 Making a Call

 Retrieving a Voice Mail Message

Lift the Handset.

Dial the number. (9 for outside)

Or Press a Speed Call key.

Or Press Redial.

If the message indicator is lit, Press Voice Mail key.

Dial your personal Passcode, and then follow the instructions.  (Refer to the back for more detailed Voice Mail User Options.)

Press Superkey.

Press No until "Personal Keys?" appears.

Press Yes.

Press an unused key.

Press Change.

Press Yes.

Dial the number.

Or Press Redial.

Press Save.

Press Superkey.

Press Superkey.

Press until No until the desired feature is displayed.

Select the desired feature by pressing Yes, and then follow the instructions in the Display.

Press Superkey.

Answering Ringing Phones in your Group

Lift the Handset.

Press the Softkey that displays “Pickup”.

 

(You will answer the first ringing phone in your group.)

EXPRESS MESSENGER VOICE MAIL USER OPTIONS

 

If your telephone is equipped with Voice Mail, simply press the Voice Mail key to access the system, and follow the spoken instructions.

 

You will be required to enter your personal Passcode.  (Default code “9999” or “1111”)

 

Following are details for using the advanced User Options.

 

 

 

Note: To access your Mailbox from outside – Press “ * ” key once you are connected to Voice Mail.

 

 Transferring a Caller to Voice Mail

Press Trans/Conf.

Press Voice Mail key + # + Extension number.

Hang up the Handset so caller will hear Voice Mail greeting.
