The Mitel product line represents business communication systems designed to serve businesses with as few as (10) extensions, and as large as several thousand, spanning multiple locations.  The products are modular and scalable, and software controlled.  This design allows an economical modular building block approach to meet virtually any size business application.  With a variety of software applications, including Networking, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), and Unified Messaging, the Mitel product line can meet the most demanding business requirement.

Verge Network Solutions, Inc. is a Platinum Solution Provider (PSP) for Mitel, which allows us to bring to market the entire Mitel portfolio of products including the SX-200 ICP and 3300 ICP IP based communications systems.  The SX-200 ICP and 3300 ICP Systems are in addition to the workhorse SX-200 and SX-2000 systems, and are platforms designed to utilize IP (Internet Protocol) connectivity allowing enhanced applications and integration, including services via the World Wide Web.  Only an authorized PSP has the training and expertise to offer the complete portfolio of applications, and of course Mitel is careful to select only the best partners, like Verge.

The key benefit offered by the Verge/Mitel partnership is a combined commitment and focus on customer satisfaction and the delivery of quality products and services, like no other company.  Mitel’s Customer Satisfaction Program insures Verge must meet a minimum standard of customer service which is certified by a third party and verified annually.  This customer commitment matches Verge’s own commitment to the same objective.  Through this process, and the delivery of the latest in communications solutions, the Verge/Mitel partnership represents unsurpassed leadership in Oklahoma.

Mitel's Products

Mitel offers a complete array of converged communications solutions designed to meet almost any application from the most basic to the most advanced.  With the modular design, scalability, and software control, Mitel’s robust product line can be tailored to meet your specific needs.  Following is a brief explanation of the Mitel family of telecommunications product solutions:

SX-200 Enhanced Light Digital PBX System – The SX-200EL incorporates a state-of-the-art fiber distributed PBX architecture with universal ports that can be assigned to telephones, outside trunk lines, and other peripheral devices.  The system begins with capacity for (48) universal ports, and can accommodate up to approximately (650) telephone extensions.  The system uses a small Peripheral Node, or cabinet, which is connected to the common control system by fiber optic cable, and can be located anywhere throughout a building or campus environment, providing flexibility in implementation.  With its feature options and processing power, the SX-200EL can meet most business requirements.

SX-200 ICP – The SX-200 ICP is Mitel’s most recent innovation, rather evolution of the workhorse Mitel SX-200. Providing both VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) connectivity, and traditional digital devices, the SX-200 ICP is very powerful. Support is provided for virtually all SX-200 components. Utilizing a platform that is native IP providing for many new applications including wireless portable phones, remote TeleWorker, and World Class Contact Center Applications.

SX-2000 Enhanced Light Digital PBX System – The SX-2000 Light incorporates a state-of-the-art fiber distributed PBX architecture like the smaller SX-200EL, yet it delivers the growth and capacity needed to support the most demanding applications.  The SX-2000 Light handles up to several thousand telephone lines (extensions).  With fiber distributed workgroup nodes (192) ports/node, ISDN, impressive ACD capabilities, and significant networking capabilities, the SX-2000 Light addresses voice and data requirements for organizations with sophisticated communications needs.  Not only does it support a wide range of peripherals, from single-line telephones to computers, but also easily integrates into a LAN (local area network) or PBX network.  The SX-2000 Light is also ideal for maintaining flexibility for telecommunications requirements such as wireless communications and video.

3300 ICP Voice over IP (VoIP) Systems – This product is the latest offering by Mitel to bridge the SX-2000 product functionality into the “Voice over IP” (VoIP) market.  This product allow a client to deploy the features and functions offered by the core SX-2000 Light PBX System, and take advantage of the IP connectivity.  Advantages offered by IP include common infrastructure, integration with multiple Web-based applications, and the ability to deploy a communications system across the internet and Virtual Private Networks.  While “Voice over IP” is not the objective, this technology is an enabler to help businesses improve cost, increase connectivity to remote workers, and integrate many other communications media.

TeleWorker - This solution allows Voice over IP (VoIP) customers to utilize the power and benefits of IP Technology by allowing a phone to be used in a remote location, via the Internet, which is connected and part of your business system.  In other words, an employee may connect to their office phone system and have all of the office phone system features and capabilities as though they are physically located in their office.

Superset Series Telephones - Mitel has a long standing reputation for offering the most comprehensive and user friendly telephone desktop instruments in the world, referred to as the Mitel Superset.  These phones are easy to use and include the features and capabilities desired by most users such as Full Duplex Handsfree Speakerphones, large LCD Displays, large and easy to use buttons keys, but most importantly, simplicity in feature operation.
