Telecommunications System Engineer
We have an immediate opening and are seeking a candidate
that desires the opportunity to grow and learn the telecommunications
industry, with emphasis on Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony, working in a
small company environment, with a great team of people committed to
Customer Service as Priority #1.
Responsibilities will include:

Programming and setup of business phone systems
and related hardware and software applications;

Installation and testing of systems for end
user customers;

Maintenance and support of business
communications systems and applications;
Verge serves businesses throughout the State of Oklahoma,
with our primary focus on serving the communications needs of Community
Banks. In this pursuit we design, sell, install, and maintain and
manage the entire voice and data network within the customer’s premises,
to include the phone system call control, telephone handsets, wiring,
data switches and routers, and needed application servers.
The desired candidate should have experience in some or
all of these areas, including:

Business Phone System installation and/or
maintenance and repairs;

Data Network installation and support,
including routers and switches;

Experience with Exchange and other
operating systems is desirable;

Desktop PCs and operating systems and
applications;
Even though we desire some verifiable experience, we will
absolutely consider a candidate who has recently completed relevant
training in these areas and is seeking that first real opportunity.
The most important requirements for the position are
solid character with a positive attitude and desire to learn and serve
our customers. Honesty and integrity are key, and a good work ethic is
a must!
The position will be based in our Oklahoma City Office
and will require some occasional overnight travel throughout the state
to serve our customers.

As we serve Community Banks we do require a good driving
record and an OSBI background check prior to employment.
